All the words in the box above have been used to describe
Drac's music. When he composes a piece he does it with
such a fanatical determination and a heart laden with
emotions that it's almost scary to watch him. Always a perfectionist, Drac insists on playing, singing, recording and producing every single note of his music. Except for the back up vocals in Ritual Of Destruction, which were sung by Drac's good friend and
musician Regina Six, Drac did everything on his CD
Necrobellum.

His unconventional use of instruments, such as the turntables
and strings to bring a new layer to his music. He'll incorporate
the turntables into a layer of percussion and then layer them
with the usual guitars, synths and v-drumz. If the piece calls
for it, Drac will add whatever it needs the sweet sound of a
violin or his cat meowing in the background.

If you listen carefully you'll hear his cat, Darom's
distorted meows in the background of Drac's song,
Decide. Or his mom accidently knocking the studio door
and calling for him just when he began recording
                                  Ritual Of Destruction.

Drac begins most of his songs at a slow pace, then allows
the music to crescendo into what resembles a wave
crashing against the rocks on a shore. He utilizes ambient washes in the background of many of his pieces, in an effort to draw the listener deeper into his music. The music invites his listeners to decipher how Drac created the menagerie of voices and sounds. His brassy
voice enters a song with a low, intense growl, which combined
with all the other sounds serves as a catalyst to a variety of
emotions that sends chills down the spine as it builds up to the
chorus.

The rhythm and tempo within the songs themselves change violently,
start like a funeral dirge and suddenly evolves into a "Cyclonic Fury".
Then without warning, the tempo slows down again to produce an irregular sound that takes his listeners through an experience that leaves them feeling as if they're on an audio roller coaster. The music and lyrics are dark and foreboding and sometimes can be scary that leaves the listener with visions of doom reminiscent of the writings by 1800's author HP Lovecraft.

Drac's songs echo many of the feelings about the world and society we currently live in. Each song evokes the feelings Drac experiences while recording alone in the darkness of his studio.

"I think most of the mainstream music on the radio nowadays is garbage. My goal is to someday clog up their precious Top 10 Count Down like a festering scab that won't go away!"
                                                          DRAC

To the left is the proposed cover for "Necrobellum". EBGB took the photograph of Drac during a moment of deep reflection. The photograph reflects a deep sense of forlorn, which mirrors the feelings within his music.

The CD is scheduled to be released some time in late summer or early fall. We will notify you when it is released.
